About this Episode
If having a hotel video produced is just the first step, what’s next?
The next step is to get it out where online travel shoppers can see it. When your video is out on as many channels as possible from your own website, to social media sites, to online travel agencies, it gives you a much better chance of engaging online travel shoppers and motivating them to book your hotel.
Watch this episode with Tom O’Rourke, Founder & President of O’Rourke Hospitality Marketing, to learn how to maximize the value of your investment in online video.

In regards to your question, what I think he said was “TubeMogul” (http://www.tubemogul.com/)
HI, I’m sorry, I didnt catch what Tom was saying after mentioning youtube and facebook. Was the site called “twobongo”, or “tomongo” or something like that? What was the site name?
Thanks
excellent info…can’t wait for another presentation! Thanks!
Do you also recommend virtual tours?
Yes we do recommend virtual tours. Different media types allow you to visually present different aspects of your hotel to travel shoppers.
Videos do a great job of creating excitement and inspiring travel shoppers based on what makes your hotel unique/different.
Virtual Tours or 360° Panoramic Tours are helpful at showing greater details of specific hotel rooms/amenities. This media type creates interactivity and a sense of being in the hotel… particularly if they are produced in higher definition formats.
A well merchandised hotel is presented to the travel shopper with a complete and rich visual experience. This includes excellent photography, virtual tours, and video in as large a format as possible.
